In order to be able to use mobile internet, you need a laptop.

Do you own a laptop or netbook?
Telenet will deliver:

• a USB modem from Telenet

• an activated Walk&Surf SIM card

• a Walk&Surf subscription

The USB modem is suited for most desktop and laptop computers running Windows® XP, Vista, 7 or MacOSX with a free USB port (USB 2.0), and is needed to be able to make a connection with the internet.

Your SIM card must be activated in order to make a Walk & Surf connection. Follow the guidelines located in the SIM card package.

• Place the active Walk & Surf SIM card in the USB modem

  

• Start your laptop

• Place the USB modem in a free USB port (if direct access to a USB port is difficult you can use the enclosed USB cable to connect the USB modem to your computer)

  

• The software starts automatically: follow the steps then click on "finish"

Make a connection

• Place the USB modem in a free USB port

  

• Enter the pin code of your SIM card

• Click on 'Connect'

You are ready to surf!

2 GB per month - that's a lot of freedom!

2 GB data volume per month is included in your Walk&Surf30 subscription, which you can use freely inside Belgium. That is ample enough to receive or send 200,000 e-mail messages (without attachment), visit 10,000 web pages or watch online video clips for 8 hours, for example.

So, what is your online behaviour? If you already know, it is easy to estimate your internet use:

What if you use more?

Should you occasionally happen to use more than 2 GB per month, then you pay € 0.10 extra per MB.

Surfing the internet during your holiday? Sending e-mail messages during your business trip?

With Walk & Surf you can also be online abroad³. All you need to do for that is to have this service activated for your subscription first. You can contact the Telenet customer service to that means.

Please note:the rates for mobile surfing abroad are higher than those for mobile surfing inside Belgium. Therefore we advise you to monitor your data use closely when abroad. Check the rates abroad here³.
