What are the Shakes’ benefits?

Shakes let you combine Telenet services. So you can save money and streamline your administration. Why not make things easy for yourself: one installation, one activation, one bill.

I want to switch to a Shake. Do I have to pay an activation fee?

When you switch to a Shake, you only pay an activation fee if:

  • you sign up for a new product (internet, Digital TV, phone line) or rent an extra Digibox/Digicorder
  • you opt for a downgrade (e.g. of your internet plan).

New customers pay a single activation fee per Shake, regardless of the number of services chosen.

What does the phone line include in the Shakes?

If you opt for a Shake with phone, you automatically profit from the Freephone Europe calling plan. FreePhone Europe lets you call for free to all landlines in Belgium and Europe during off-peak, weekends and bank holidays. The Freephone Europe calling plan is only valid for the first line.
Get even more value for money. Combine Freephone Europe with the following options:

  • Option 24 Belgium: call any landline in Belgium for free. 24 hours a day. 7 days a week.

Will the promotions on my current services still apply to my Shake?

Any promotions on existing services will expire when you switch to a Shake. However, you will benefit from the low Shake rates. For example:
You signed up for a Telenet Internet plan last month and received the “2 months free internet” promotion. When you switch to a Shake, this promotion will expire on your internet plan and be replaced by your monthly Shake discount.

How is the installation

The basis for every Telenet product is your TV distribution cable. With one small adjustment, you will be able to use the same cable to make calls, surf the internet and watch digital TV. If you do not have TV distribution at your installation address, an additional €82,64 may be charged for your connection.

Do-It-Yourself Installation Free

Pre-installation

When? You don't have a Telenet modem or network router in your building.
An installer will come by to install the modem and network distributor. You can then install the rest yourself…

Comfort installation € 61,98

An installer will come and install a network router and cable modem. He/she will also connect all the cables and ensure that your Telenet services are all working. The cables, however, will not be attached to the wall.

An installer will come and install a network distributor, cable modem and at least 2 Powerline adapters (€ 37.19 each) and will ensure your Telenet services are all working.
When should you use Powerline? If you cannot or do not wish to connect your computer or decoder to a UTP cable.

The installer will perform the same tasks as in the Comfort installation, while also neatly attaching all cables to your walls.
